Our Back Story.
Welcome to EFS Catering, where our story began in 2007 after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita devastated New Orleans. Founded by Barb and me, EFS Catering emerged from a need for catering services during those challenging times. Starting with a 53-foot custom-built trailer, we've grown from our humble beginnings to become a dedicated local catering company.
Though our roots are in hurricane relief, our primary focus is now serving our local community. We've evolved into a thriving catering business, thanks to our unwavering commitment to quality and exceptional customer service.
Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, we persevered and emerged stronger. In the past two and a half years, we've dedicated our company to serving our guests, team members, community, and God with love and hospitality. Our values include a servant's attitude, humility, and intentional actions.
We're also proud to give back to the community through charitable outlets like Seamark Ranch, City Rescue Mission, Gateway Foundation, and Salvation Army.

Owner & Founder
A Christian and Award-winning Executive Chef Larry Grosshans is a 25-year veteran of the culinary arts and a graduate from the country's most prestigious culinary arts school, The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. This award-winning chef's career has been literally international, in addition to covering every corner of the United States. Chef Grosshans is the successful owner and designer of three restaurants, and the first corporate chef for Starwood Hotels International. In the food service industry, Chef Larry Grosshans has done it all and owes it all to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
